This site is  dedicated to L.D.'s beloved mother Doris Banbury, pictured here in New York in the 50's. 

Doris dreamt of being an actress, but settled for working hard and becoming an avid photographer hobbyist which she remained for over 50 years.  Doris eventually left New York, came to San Francisco and became a city employee and single parent to two children.  Sidenote:  The song playing at the opening of this page, FUR ELISE, was Doris' signature song, one of her favorite pieces that she played for her son and daughter when they were children.
